This past week, the Effingham County Fair took place, and as previously blogged about I was able to do Marlee’s retiring queen pictures at the fair and that gave me the idea that I would love to do a fair portrait session. I figured it’s been a while since I’ve done a family session for Kirstie and Brant and asked if they’d be up for it. They were, and this will be so cool to add to the collection. I use an online resource for digital file sharing and it’s so cool being able to look through their pictures from the last three years; from Maternity through today we have 10 sessions and it’s pretty awesome being able to see the changes that have taken place from it being just the two of them to plus one and then plus two. Now, the night we decided to go to the fair was arm band night which generally brings in more people than usual, so that added a bit of craziness to the equation, plus, with all the colors, lights, commotion and such, Kortland was blown away, there was so much to look at and do. We were able to grab his attention a few times for pictures, so it turned out alright. At on point I was told that I had taken enough pictures. HA And when I continued to take pictures of Kortland on a ride, he pointed and said “I told you to stop taking pictures.” I guess that’s when I know my services are no longer needed. Little kids crack me up! This was so much fun, and I definitely look forward to the future and doing more of these types of sessions. As I mentioned in my last Fair blog, I love the environment of the fair. I don’t really do a lot at the fair anymore that I’m older, but being there is fun enough, taking pictures at the fair? Even better!

Even after I was told to stop, I continued to take pictures, I got yelled at again by the boss. But I begged for one more smile and he gave me on big scream of a smile. haha
