The thing I love about day after sessions is that keep in mind these are not always, if at all, literally the day after. So far they average about one to three weeks later, and because we have to work around schedules some of them end up on a Thursday like Kory and Kristen’s day after session. Needless to say they are definitely looked at for quite a while by people walking by. It’s almost kind of funny and it definitely adds a bit of fun to the shoot. I think from now on I’ll just tell couples to tell people we are shooting for a bridal magazine. It wouldn’t be a total lie… if you will be attending the Thelma Keller Convention Center bridal expo in Effingham this January, you’ll see what I mean, we are going all out for our handouts. 🙂
Anyway, we shot out at the Trek Trails in Effingham which provides a lot of good photographic opportunities, and I think we took advantage of just about every one of them. The sun was peaking through the trees at times and I absolutely love getting these shots, something about having beams of the sun peaking in the peaking into the picture that seems to complete it. It was so much fun working with Kory and Kristen again, I think this is the number one reason I enjoy these shoots so much. Congrats again you two!
