As we near the end of 2015, I spend this time to reflect on the past year; the highs and the lows. Looking at things that we did great and also areas where we can improve. Part of this reflection is looking at the pictures we captured and picking out our favorites. I decided to start off with portraits. Everything from working with models to a family of 33, portraits covered quite a variety of pictures. It was definitely a great year for portraits as we had the opportunity to work with more families than we ever had in years past, as I mentioned above, we were able to work with a number of models to help grow our portfolio as we as their portfolio. This year was the year of Chicago senior sessions as we were able to book seniors from out of state for Chicago senior sessions. This was probably the biggest surprise of the year as seniors were able to find us on google. I’m not sure how we ranked so high in the searches but it was definitely pretty awesome and the seniors we were able to work with were such a blast to work with. Overall, 2015 was a fantastic year for portraits. It’s definitely exciting looking to 2016 and looking at new opportunities for portraits that we plan to pursue, but also expanding on 2015 to ensure we provide not just great quality pictures for portrait clients, but to provide a fun experience too.
