Some wedding days come and go so quickly, you wish that it didn’t have to end. Morgan and Mitch’s wedding was one such as this! These two are two in a million, I swear! They have such fun, warm personalities, you can’t help but enjoy yourself when you are around them. From our first meeting to the engagement session and now to the wedding, these two kept things interesting and kept the party going the entire day. This wedding day also took us around quite a ways. We started in Shelbyville during Morgan’s hair and makeup. After we finished there, we headed to Strasburg where we photographed Mitch getting ready. After he got dressed, he informed us that he had a little surprise for Morgan and he wanted to pose for pictures with it. Not sure what was about to happen, we went into another room where he unveiled an old desk that he converted into quite a unique vanity. Being the fun, goofy spirited guy he is, he did a little modeling with the vanity. We took advantage of the huge time window we had and did pictures of the guys outside. After a little time with the guys, we made our way back to Morgan who was now in Cowden. We photographed her getting ready with her bridesmaids and again spent some time outside with her and bridesmaids getting pictures of them as we had a pretty large window of time before the ceremony.

As we arrived to the ceremony, Mitch arrived first and Morgan arrived shortly after. Not wanting to see her yet, Mitch ran off and hid. However, none of his groomsmen knew where he went. None of his family did either. It was actually pretty funny watching all this happen. Everyone kept checking the basement, the classrooms, gym, bathrooms. Multiple times too. There was a little room in front of the church that no one checked. Through all this commotion and minutes of searching, no one checked the front of the church. Eventually he was found and made for a fun situation/memory to go with the day. The ceremony was perfect. Full of smiles and laughter, Morgan and Mitch said their vows and exited the church. Outside, we made our way to a covered bridge for some pretty amazing picture time with the two of them! Then, we completed our traveling circle and headed back to Altamont where the reception took place at the Carriage House. As usual, the reception was perfect! Receptions always are at the Carriage House. Their reception was a little different than most, and I loved it. Right after Morgan and Mitch were introduced, they walked to their cake, cut the cake and then immediately went into their first dance. I LOVED THIS!! Everything about their day was great! The reception was fantastic and the pictures that came from it are so fun! We loved working with Morgan and Mitch and feel so honored that they allowed us to be a part of their big day! Now, on to the pictures!
