I was going through my blog posts to make sure I was caught up and realized I never posted Derek and Jalyne’s engagement session blog! Obviously from the colors, you can see that these pictures are not recent as the session took place last Fall. That’s the thing with being as busy as I’ve been lately, it’s become a challenge to keep up with the blog. I have to make a decision to either focus my time on client pictures/orders or post to my blog and social media and obviously the client is going to win that battle all day long. Better late than never, though, here we are getting ready to dive into their blog. These two were such a great couple to photograph. The scenery was Ballard Nature Center in Altamont, IL. The center had just burnt off some under growth and it made for some incredible pictures. I didn’t know they had burnt, but I’m glad the timing worked out perfect that we could get pictures of it in the background. On top of that, the Fall colors were in full effect! This past Fall was definitely one for the books. The colors stuck around for a while and they were super vibrant.
