The cold came, snow fell, we celebrated Thanksgiving. Now it’s over and with snow being here already it was safe to assume winter started early. Wrong. Lindsey and Adam’s session ended the weekend with a nice, warm late November day. What are the chances? Especially when just a few days prior we had 2-3 inches of snow on the ground. Of course, this is pretty typical Illinois weather and as the saying goes; if you don’t like the weather, wait 5 minutes and it’ll change. It definitely did that, mid 60s, no wind, it was perfect.
We did the shoot at Ballard Nature Center, and had the whole park to ourselves. No other photographer in sight (probably the chance of rain the day had). Plenty of cloud coverage to keep the sunlight diffused and everything seemed to be working out perfectly. Lindsey and Adam were so much fun to work with. They were such a relaxed couple and pretty carefree, which made for a nice relaxing session. Maybe it was all the turkey we had over the weekend too, either way it made for a great session.
