As I’m sure most of you are aware, yesterday was Mother’s Day which mean a little bit of traveling on our part to celebrate with our families. During my family visit we had a little setup to get pictures of Emma with some belongings of generations before her; from a dress, medals, watch, stuffed animal, etc. I don’t typically work with backdrops, but like most photographers we see something that look pretty amazing and think we have to have it so we buy it… so I bought a bunch of backdrops a while back and thought now would be as good as time as any to bring them out. I was a bit nervous going into the session as Emma has been on a roll lately with crying every time she sees me. I guess I’m one scary looking guy. Thankfully, on this day, there weren’t any tears… it was all laughter and smiles.
