I know, I know, who wants to talk about snow when warmer weather is upon us, but can I just have my moment for a minute? 😛 I’m so looking forward to warmer weather. In fact, I’ve already got my first sunburn of 2021 (hopefully the only one) because I’ve been enjoying this warm weather so much. That being said, these sessions took place hardly over a week ago, which seems unreal at this point. What a fun time this was. The weather was insanely perfect. Sunny, high of 37, hardly a breeze, and tons of snow on the ground. For a snow session day, it was perfect, especially considering the week of, there were multiple days below zero! When I saw that after the weekend, the snow was going to be gone, I decided snow sessions had to take place regardless of the weather. Thankfully, the day was great. I had quite a few sessions, more than I anticipated! The funny thing is, outside of commercial and wedding photography, I touched on pretty much every type of session I offer: larger family, small family, a married couple, engaged couple, senior, baby/kids, maternity, as well as a mommy and me session. I loved the mix! The pictures took place at a park in Effingham, IL. The park was packed as many people were enjoying the opportunity to go sledding. This was such a fun time, I’m so thrilled we got these sessions in and look forward to next winter when we can do it again. Until then, on to warmer days!
