What do you do when your birthday lands on a weekend? For me, I had a family session in the morning and a 10-year high school reunion that evening. Seriously, a birthday anymore is just another day of the week, but if it gives me an excuse to get together with a bunch of people, why not? The thing I love about continuous family sessions is seeing how things have changed throughout the years. The second wedding I ever shot with with Tyler and Rachel, then after they had their baby, I was able to photograph him a year later, and now at nearly 2 years old, we are photographing another year of their lives! I love it! Parker was such an awesome kid to photograph. He was so calm and collect, it did not feel like a typical session with a kid so young, it usually involves a lot of crying or looking away. Not Parker, though. No, he was all about the camera. Of course, I loved working with Tyler and Rachel as well. It’s always great having a chance to reconnect and catch up with each other.
