With the exception of Springfield (which I tried to avoid any snow pictures) we were fortunate(?) enough to receive a nice layer of snow at the end of March. The snow came a couple days before our shoot, but because of the amount we received I was confident we would still have a nice layer for the pictures. The confidence started to dwindle when the spring weather FINALLY made it’s way the day of the shoot and it was a high around 50 degrees. Fortunately, we got the snow in the pictures and had a warmer day to do the shoot, at least warm for having snow on the ground. I did get a kick out of some of the pictures because if you’ve ever been to the beaches on the gulf where the sand is white, typically there will be a section before you get to the beach where it’s a mix of grasses and sand, and in some of our pictures it definitely looked like that… I guess I won’t complain too much about getting beachy looking pictures in central illinois. 🙂

Abbe is another one of our ambassadors for this year and she definitely rocked out our mini promo shoot. The pictures turned out great and I can’t wait for our summer shoot when we have a little nicer weather and some colors!!
