What a fantastic day for pictures out at Ballard Nature Center. Every time I do a session at Ballard since it’s pretty much in my own backyard, I try and make sure to make every session a little different or unique from the previous. Now, I know that every session is unique to the person/people I’m photographing, but for me, it’s a mental thing. I don’t want to be one of those photographers that have a collection of “safe spots.” Does this make things easy for photographers? Sure, but I feel like it’s a bit lazy. Especially for a place like Ballard Nature Center. It has so much to offer, and if you are willing to go off the beaten path, so to speak, you’ll find some pretty great spots. Clara and Dylan were just too much fun to photograph. They were full of love and laughter. I loved working with them and look forward to their big day.
