I got to welcome in my niece this week and what better way to do so than to bring my camera and take some pictures. 🙂 Plus I love challenging myself to get great pictures even if the area may not be the best, and let’s be real, a hospital room is not the prettiest of places for a photo session. However, we made it work. And with it being family it made it that more enjoyable and special to be doing the pictures. Originally, the plan was to get a couple of family pictures, but then it turned into a newborn session. Most newborn sessions happen maybe a week or two after the birth, not this one, we’re talking 10 hours after.
It was great having the chance to welcome Emma to the family and we had both sets of grandparents there to get pictures as well. Not sure how Kortland is handling it yet, but he definitely looked pretty professional in his scrubs ready to take care of his mom. haha It’s been fun capturing my sister and bro-in-law’s family grow since their marriage and I definitely look forward to getting more pictures. Soon we’ll be doing an “official” newborn session.
