A short time before Hope and Brandon’s wedding, we did a second engagement session. This has been something a number of couples have done and it’s super fun! I love having a second opportunity to work with couples as it builds the relationship even more, and of course, provides them with even more pictures! We did the pictures at Ballard Nature Center in Altamont, a location we would eventually be stopping by to do their wedding pictures. What I really liked about this session was experimenting a little and trying some new things, because it led to me finding some pretty cool shots that I knew I would want to do on the wedding day! We had a great summer day to work with, the scenery looked amazing and the sun peaking in behind the trees made for some pretty impressive imagery. I loved working with these two again. They were such a blast to photograph and having this second session made the wedding day even more fun, especially as we revisited some of the sites on their big day!
