Could it really be that in late June the temperature is only in the upper 70s? Seriously, this day was absolutely incredible, you could not ask for a better day for Beth and Dalton’s wedding, especially considering, like most every other wedding I’ve had this year, the week leading up to the wedding day was nothing but rain and storms, and possibly even a tornado (or at least really strong winds to knock some trees down. Regardless of the week, this day was perfect. We were not at the photography helm this time though, no, this time we were operating our cameras in video mode. The wedding was held at A Fair Barn in Salem, IL and this place was insanely nice! The barn was perfect for the ceremony, and then behind the barn was a newly built pavilion where the reception was held. We could not get over how amazing this location was and just how perfect it was for a wedding. It had a certain class about it that made you feel that you were actually at a wedding and not just in a barn, yet it had this atmosphere about it that allowed you to sit back and relax. This was definitely the overall feeling in the air as the day progressed. Beth and Dalton were so amazing to work with because of this relaxed environment. Both of them were full of smiles and laughter and I’m not going to lie, this made for some pretty incredible footage. So much footage, that I’m not sure how we are ever going to decide what to use and not use. Below is a teaser trailer for their wedding video. While a lot of times I try to use music that is popular and known, for my teasers, I do like to go a little more cinematic in the way that it’s set up. I love cinematic music and I thought it was very fitting for their teaser.
