It’s been a little bit since I’ve been to the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis. So long, in fact, that I did not realize any construction was happening there. As I pulled in, I drove down the main entrance only to question if I was at the right place because the large building that once welcomed you upon entering was completely missing. After I connected with Ashley and Kyle, we entered the park and almost immediate got to it. My favorite thing about sessions at the Botanical Gardens is that it’s a time of exploration and finding what works. Because we are limited by the hours of the park, you don’t have the luxury of choosing times with optimal lighting, but I figured if we arrived right at opening, then at least the sun would somewhat be behind them in many of the pictures. Ashley and Kyle were total naturals on camera! They have such fun personalities and were so great to work with! I cannot wait for their wedding day, but for now, I’ll relive and enjoy their amazing session in St. Louis.
