Another session with my sister and brother in law, and this time is not Christmas pictures of the three of them, but the four of them. Like Kortland was at that age, Emma was just full of smiles and 100% cooperative. Kortland on the other hand, maybe it’s because he’s grown up with a photographer uncle, he seems to require a little pay (in the form of cookies) to cooperate. I guess this is what happens when models hit it big time. But all went well and we were able to get some amazing pictures just in time for Christmas. I don’t photograph too many babies, but when it comes to Kortland and Emma, they are about the perfect babies to photograph. 1. They are cute and 2. Emma now and Kortland when he was a baby, they’ve just been so easy to work with… you don’t get that too often with babies. Regardless of how the shoot goes, they are family, so it’s always a joy to photograph them anyway, of course most of the session is us, or rather Natasha playing cars with Kortland and me trying to figure out how to pull him away for pictures. It’s always a great time photographing them, plus the way we deliver pictures digitally, we have all of Kirstie and Brant’s pictures online in the same location from their Maternity session when Kirstie was pregnant with Kortland, so it’s pretty cool seeing all these sessions and how they have changed in just a few short years.
