Most photographers will agree, but one of the best situations for lighting is a cloudy day. Sure, having some sun flare in the frame is great and I definitely try to take advantage of that lighting when I can. However, I’d much prefer to have even, consistent lighting and that’s what you get with cloudy days. We had cloudy weather for Rachel’s pictures. She and her son did a mommy-and-me session and what a fun one it was. Pictures full of laughter are my favorites and that’s exactly what we had during their session. They were so much fun to work with and the scenery we had to work with at Trec Trail in Effingham was perfect!! Even though the wave of green from Spring weather had not set in yet, there was still quite a bit to work with that made for some tremendous photographs!
