Last year, Logan reached out to me about buying a gift card for pictures to her parents. This fall, they scheduled that session and the timing of the session could not have been any better. The colors of Fall were as vibrant as they could be. The yellows, oranges, reds, they were so rich. The session took place out by the lake and along with the Fall colors, everything about the location was amazing. The session was Logan’s parents, her and her brother and three pups. Dogs crack me up in pictures because they are so high energy, getting them to sit, and especially look at the camera, can be a challenge like no other. Maybe you get them to look at you, but maybe you make too much noise and they want to run after you. It’s a fine line you walk when trying to capture the attention of dogs. Fortunately, the three dogs gave me a couple of seconds where all three of them looked my way. It made for some great images. It was long after, they were done with me and wanted to run, so we spent the rest of the time focusing on the humans. I loved working with the Braunecker family. They were a blast to photograph and had such fun personalities. Everything about their session was perfect and I’m so thrilled with how their images turned out.
