You’ve seen me write it a million times, but I’ll keep saying it, working with families as they grow continues to be one of the biggest honors as a photographer! Watching the Carters grow into a family of four has been so much fun and photographing them has been incredible. They are such a sweet family and such good friends. One of my favorite things about family sessions with young kids is that you never know what you’re going to get. Having a toddler and infant of our own, I get to see first hand how they can go from goofy to serious in a blink of an eye, and almost always when a camera is involved. I love seeing and photographing these little bits of personality in facial expressions in kids. I especially love it when little siblings show love for one another with little hugs and kisses. Finn was showing Isla so much love, he’s such a good big brother. It was a blast photographing this big brother protection of little sister.
