Back at Busch Stadium for an engagement session. I absolutely love these shoots!! They are so unique and a ton of fun. In the past, though, our shoots have all be 30 minutes, so it’s a mad dash to go from spot to spot to get all the pictures we can, but this shoot took place on a Sunday and Evan and Taylor were required to do 60 minutes! What am I going to do with myself?! A whole hour inside of Busch Stadium. We definitely explored alot more of the areas available to us. This extra time also allowed me to try new things inside the stadium. As we wrapped up our session, we had about 5 minutes of time left and we were taken to Fred Bird’s car where Evan and Taylor had some pictures taken on his car, so that was a cool little bonus to the day. I absolutely love working at Busch, the staff is awesome and it never fails to produce an awesome experience for couples.
We then made our way to Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville. Talk about Deja Vu… I was just there the day before with Devin and Stephanie’s wedding. To keep things fresh and unique, though, I stayed clear of the areas we were at with their wedding to keep Evan and Taylor’s engagement session special and unique. Our first stop was a tunnel, this thing rocked, except I quickly grew to hating it because it took my lens. Not literally. I got my lighting set up, and then thinking my back was zipped I picked it up. Long story short, the bag was not zipped and my lens shot out like a rock and hit the concrete floor. Needless to say, it’s making a field trip to canon for some repair.
Whatever though, it’s fine. The session went great and that’s all that matters, right?! Evan and Taylor were so much fun to work with and it was great having the opportunity to hang out with them and get to know them some. What an awesome couple and I definitely look forward to their wedding day.
