Cities are always a pretty amazing place to do pictures in. Even though the city is the locale where most of our sessions take place, I think being from a small town it’s still surprising just how much they have to offer. From tall city buildings to unique old buildings, and then in the middle of all that, an amazing park that’s absolutely perfect for pictures. To start off the session with Kaile and Ethan, we walked a few blocks from where they live to take pictures downtown. It was a pretty cool downtown with lots of character and inside was a little park. From there, we walked to another park a couple blocks away and seriously the place was amazing! We could have done the entire session on the corner of the block. From the park to the houses lining it, it was a quaint little area with so much to offer.
However, we had plans of going to a park that’s a little more well known. Forest Park was our spot. Even this park continues to surprise me. Just when I think I’ve seen most of what it has to offer, I’m floored that I’ve only seen a small fraction of it. During their session we explored areas I’ve never been to. From waterfalls to wide open spaces, everything was perfect. It was a great evening for pictures too as we had a great golden sunset to provide some fantastic lighting. Working with Kaile and Ethan was such a blast (as well as their pup)! It was a great time working in such a fun area and an area with so much to offer. I’m definitely planning a trip back to that suburb to check out everything else it has to offer very soon.
