This year, fall has seemed kind of lame. The colors never really were. It was as if the trees were green, and then they were brown. What happened to all the yellows, oranges, reds? Fortunately, in a see of brown there are spots of yellow and orange shining through, and like the lone dandelion standing tall amongst the blades of grass, the spots of color popped! I’m going to chalk up this description as a metaphor describing Kayla and Jeff’s personality as a couple. Like the spots of color or the lone dandelion, these two were special. I don’t say this too often, only because I never want to make less of the work we do as photographers, but from the first picture to the last, they made my job pretty easy. The way they looked at each other and interacted with one another was so much fun to photograph! I wasn’t that bummed that the tree line wasn’t full of vibrant colors, because the way these two were made up for the lack of colors in the background. I would set up a pose and before I could bring my camera up to my face, they were already laughing with one another, flirting and whispering things to each other, they were naturals. These two were a blast to photograph, and I look forward to their big day!
