If you’ve followed my blog for the past couple years, you may have seen this sweet family a handful of times now. We’ve had the honor of working with Brianne and Daniel from their engagement session to their wedding and then their first born. Now, baby number two is on the way! If you are new to the blog, here’s the recap. When they were expecting Finn, we found out the news in a random run into each other situation at the grocery store. At the time, we had just found out we were expecting our first. Their baby, Finn and our baby, Liam were born three days apart. It was fun experiencing the same stages together and a close friendship blossomed through all of our experiences. Fast forward two years later. Brianne and Daniel are expecting baby number two, and I’m sure you’ve seen, we are expecting baby number two as well. Expected due dates are about a month apart this time, but it’s been pretty amazing and quite funny how we are going through this again. What are the chances? To make things even crazier, our first babies, we had boys, second babies are both girls. I love that a friendship has come from all of this and feel so grateful that they would allow us to photograph their family story.
What a fun session this was. I’m loving the cooler temperatures, the fall colors are starting to appear, it’s so perfect. We combined two sessions into one by doing Finn’s 2-year session and Brianne’s maternity session. Finn was such a blast. He was all about being a kid and I’m all about letting a kid be a kid in pictures. He was so full of adventure and curiosity and I loved being able to photograph that. He was also loving showing off his muscles too. These three, plus one on the way, are so great! They are too picture perfect as a family and while I never want to lessen the work that I do, let’s be real, this family makes it pretty easy for me. What a great couple and family, what a perfect day… overall it was a perfect session! I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
