It’s been quite a while since I’ve done a session in the morning, and after Amber’s maternity pictures early in the morning, I’m kind of digging this morning session thing. We did her maternity pictures at TREC Trail in Effingham, and because it was in the morning we were able to explore areas that are typically heavily lit by the evening sun. It seems like the trails is continually going through updates and extensions, which is great for me as a photographer because this means that new areas are constantly opening up. We started out with pictures in the creek and this place was perfection. The water, the logs in the background, everything about it was too perfect to not photograph. At one point during the pictures a slight breeze came and caused some of the leaves/buds to start to fall from a tree behind Amber.
As the sun started to rise, we made our way out into some pasture area. I thought with it being maternity pictures that keeping a lot of them bright and cheery would be perfect. Amber was great to work with, and I’m SO thrilled with the pictures we were able to create for her during this maternity session!
