Wedding event number two. That has been the overwhelming theme of 2020; split weddings. Shelby and Jacob’s ceremony and small reception took place earlier in the year and what a wonderful day they had for a wedding. Fast forward to November, and it was time to celebrate with more people in a little more traditional wedding setting. The vow renewal and reception took place at Stoney Ridge Event Center in Robinson, IL. I am such a huge fan of this location. Not only does it look amazing but it is very spacious, which is a great thing considering the current covid crisis. The ceremony was pretty quick, just a way to let everyone who couldn’t make the ceremony take part in it this time. We had a great day for pictures outside. Being a late November wedding, you would expect it to be quite cold. While it was a little chilly, it wasn’t bad out. On top of that, the sunset provided great lighting for Shelby and Jacob’s pictures! The reception got underway and the dance floor was packed! Guests were having a great time celebrating Shelby and Jacob and the DJ provided a night full of entertainment. It was a great time and I’m so thrilled and honored Shelby and Jacob allowed me to be a part of both of their wedding celebrations.
