It’s bridal show time, which means it’s prime time for wedding planning! And there’s no better way to have access to so many wedding vendors. From decoration, to catering, music, photographers and everything in-between, they are all there. As a vendor it’s obviously a great way to gain exposure with so many couples, but it’s also a great time to get together with so many vendors, catch up, talk about the upcoming year; it’s such a blast.
For the past 3 years now, we have featured a double booth. I’m all about large pictures and showing off how amazing wedding pictures can look the bigger they are. I don’t have anything that is smaller than a 20×30 in my booth, and it’s blast to be able to show off such large images from some amazing weddings. Our first year with the double booth, it was the year I featured Busch Stadium as a possibility for a session. That led to 4 more Busch Stadium engagement sessions! Last year, we featured our Las Vegas engagement session which led to a year full of traveling for engagement sessions and weddings. This year, it was all about the product. Canvases and metal prints that are even bigger. Albums that are bigger and SO much nicer. And the response was fantastic. Our booth was much more organized than years past, for some reason I felt like I had more room this year than I did any other year with the same size booth… I guess that’s what organization does, huh?
I love expo season. It gets me excited for the upcoming year, and after talking with so many couples, there are some pretty amazing ideas in the works with some weddings. Thank you again to the convention center for such an amazing show, as usual. And it was great having a chance to reconnect with a lot of the other vendors. Looking forward to 2014!!
