Spring is definitely here! By that I mean, one day it’s 70 degrees, the next day (literally) it’s 40 degrees. Don’t put away those winter clothes quite yet folks! Fortunately, Derek and Lexi’s engagement session was on a 70 degree day! It was literally the most perfect day. Not only was it 70 degrees, but there wasn’t any wind, the sun wasn’t too harsh or hot, and even though we don’t have the fresh green of Spring yet, that hardly mattered, everything else was too good that it made up for the colors not being in full effect yet. Additionally, Derek and Lexi were such a great couple to photograph. They had such fun personalities and it made for some pretty amazing pictures. Having the scenery of Vandalia Lake made things even better. From the wooded areas to the country roads, every location was picture perfect.
