Wedding Fusion, this is the mixture of pictures and video inside a slideshow. A slideshow is nothing new of course, but incorporating video and photography into a video for a couple is a fairly new thing and it’s something that many photographers are starting to add to their services. Why? Because video is shot on the same cameras we shoot pictures with. Now, why is this a big deal, or why would I make it a big deal? This is an awesome memento to have from a wedding day. Now, in no way am I saying this should replace wedding video because you are only getting snippets of video from the day but it is a fun item to have that tells your story.
Below are a couple of fusions we did this year! Because we have 2 shooters at most weddings, adding in video isn’t too difficult as we have the ability to flip back and forth between video and pictures on our cameras. Both of these weddings were SO much fun to shoot and I’m so glad we had the opportunity to shoot video as well to put together a fusion video. There’s something about seeing a moment in a picture and then seeing that same moment in video. Seeing what was happening as the picture was taken is pretty cool, at least in my opinion.
